Al Lopez is a Vet, CPA, and has an MBA with decades of experience as President and VP in corporate America. Now, retired, he picks up the reigns with his daughter and son-in-law to run Alma Coffee, their new coffee roasting/retail brand supplied by their 5th generation coffee farm in Copan, Honduras. Living in Cherokee County with his family, Al is a strong leader and a humble servant ready to take on the new challenges and opportunities that come with his newest venture.
Al is a results-driven, a multicultural senior executive with extensive domestic and international experience in general management, sales and marketing, operations, finance and accounting. Experienced in leading corporate turnarounds and M&A. Work history ranges from the US Army to factory worker, to senior positions with Fortune 500 companies and private equity, including expatriate assignments in Mexico and Costa Rica.
